PROJECT
The Cut

THE CUT
Across six acres of raw woodland, a deliberate clearing creates the central line of the property. The architecture occupies its edges, remaining concealed among the trees before opening up to reveal breathtaking ocean views.
The project takes its name from both the land being opened in a unique way and the view toward Flying Point Beach's famous "The Cut," where the calm waters of Mecox Bay break through the beach to connect directly with the Atlantic Ocean, supporting the flow and health of the bay’s water and biodiversity. Architecture and landscape are conceived around this idea of flow and health, reflecting the natural character and magic of the place.
